The 2026 BBQ Music Fest will be held July 10-12, 2026 at the spacious green park - Oso Viejo Community Park located in Mission Viejo, California. FREE GENERAL PARKING!
It's a three-day BBQ extravaganza featuring live entertainment from variety of popular artists, a smokin’ food court (including non-BBQ related items), DJ and dance lessons, cantinas (serving up beer, wine and signature drinks), Stella Rosa complimentary tastings, Tequila/Whiskey tasting experience by El Baston del Rey, local artisans, carnival rides and games, magic and illusion shows (Sat. and Sun.). Taste and experience firsthand the fiery chicken, pulled pork, tri-tip, pork ribs, sausages... and sides (all available for purchase) that makes barbecue so popular in the USA — all while you catch a game at the live sports tent, sing your heart out at the karaoke lounge with a live band on Friday and Saturday nights and more.
Award-winning BBQ pitmasters will make their way to the festival to battle it out against local barbecue gurus (grillers) for grand title for the Best BBQ and your vote as the People's Choice Favorite. Trust us, the competition will be intense and the flavors rich in a fierce effort to produce the best that their secret recipes have to offer.
First place winners from seasons past are returning to battle it out among new comers as well...It’s time to grab the family, put on loose clothes, come with an empty stomach and head to the BBQ Music Fest Extravaganza, right here in Southern California.
Battle for amateur pitmasters - Sunday, July 27 2025
In addition to everything mentioned above, there will be a second competition taking place ON SUNDAY, JULY 27TH: Grillers will battle it out among themselves to see if they've got what it takes to be the next BBQ champ. More than 25 BBQ backyard chefs will face off to take home the prize and grand title. It’s an event that allows anyone who wants to “get their feet wet” in the world of BBQ competition to do so. Festival goers will get a firsthand look at how seriously barbequers take their grilling as they show off their skills. You can look, smell and often taste. If you ask when a team isn’t busy preparing an entry for the judges, you can get some practical tips on how to improve your home barbeque cooking skills.
These amateur pitmasters will face a table of four official judges and four judges of their peers.
